Emmat Medical’s fibre optic light guides are very versatile. The instrument and light source ends have removable interchangeable connectors to fit all manufactures makes and models.
Emmat Medical’s light guides are Autoclavable (134 °C) and are specially designed to transmit more light by manufacturing them from high quality optical glass and they can be used with Xenon light sources. Because Xenon bulbs are so much more powerful than halogen bulb models the increased infra red transmission causes damage to the light guide ends, reducing the light output considerably. Emmat Medical’s new light guides help prevent this happening
